Event orders fail in the freight leg, not the factory. A realistic backwards plan: two to three weeks for production after artwork approval, one to four weeks for freight depending on method, and a buffer of at least five working days before the event for customs, weather or a last-mile hiccup.
That means the real deadline is your artwork approval, not your order date. The single most useful thing you can do is send a clean vector logo early and approve the sample the same day it arrives. Every day of approval delay is a day off the schedule, and the only way to buy it back is a more expensive freight method.
Tell us the in-hands date first. We will tell you what is realistic before you commit, and if the calendar is too tight, we will say so rather than promise and miss.
